Hello BigD Squaddies!

How time flies here at BigD! We have now just crossed over our 12 months anniversary of getting back into hosting Squad in the oceanic region. 

For those of you who may not know BigD's long history with Squad, I want you to cast your mind back to December 2015 when Squad official launched on steam in early access. BigD was the first Squad server in the oceanic region, setting ourselves up for the long road ahead! 

Fast forward to October 2022 and BigD decided after 7 years to take a break for 6 months to recharge, that break  6 month break ended 12 months ago and look at how far we have come after relaunching our server.

We have seen clans and community members  from all corners of the country and overseas come into the BigD Squad scene and help to grow BigD Squad to now hosting two vanilla servers and one modded server. 

We would like to use this quick celebration  message to thank everyone for the support and express how much we appreciated the community getting behind BigD returning and thriving in the Squad scene. 

So from all the team at BigD Gaming, thank you! And lets see what the next 12 months shall bring!
 
How Can You Be Part of The Team?

We have many roles at BigD that you can apply for in order to help run and maintain the server. You could sign up to be a seeder, all you need to do is head over to the BigD discord here; https://discord.gg/bigd and head to the #react-for-role channel and click the Squad Seed Role. This will then ping you when we call for our seeders to help and to get the server popped.
You could be an admin and help maintain the servers high quality gameplay and help to shape the future of what Squad in BigD looks like. You can do this by heading to the BigD website here; www.bigd.com.au and submit a Squad Admin Application.
To help support the server and get yourself reserved slot access, you can always take out a BigD+ reoccurring donation. The Tipping competition is open to register from today - signup fast as the Top 3 of each footy code will receive prizes at the conclusion of the regular season.

 - now we are ready to officially launch the server and invite everyone to come survive the summer with us!
Our server is designed to offer a vanilla plus experience, featuring various quality-of-life enhancements. Get ready for the addition of motorbikes, the introduction of a personalized companion for solo players (more details coming soon), a comprehensive zombie overhaul, and some noteworthy improvements to building mechanics.
