Now the Blackhawk has been improved in several ways (7 man capacity, increased speed), it is too valuable of an asset to be left unattended while a squad is attacking a base. In a large map like Jabal, where the bases are quite far from each other, it is of paramount importance to keep the Blackhawk alive so troops can be shuttled to their destinations. i decided to post this here since i don't believe the tactics section is checked over much. admins feel free to move it if you really feel the need to. Just a little hint to all of you, although I'm sure you know, you can drive the tank, APC and hummer to the square flag by going straight out east of the south of the town, swinging north and cutting into the back of the ruins. You will beconsidered AWOL so if your in the tank you have to haul arse or you will do. To get to the square, drive up the east road and squeeze your way through crates blocking the way. Feel free to add more hints and tips for this map

Guys I noticed last night that alot of ppl were confused about how to play Moskiye .... ie how to extract the pilot. So I thought I would jump in and air some thoughts. British Team - Basically it is a VIP extraction map, the idea is to get the VIP out of the AO safely. It means that you really need to work as a team and co-ordinate you actions. I would suggest having one or two guys spawn with the pilot to help give cover fire in escorting him out. But that being said I would be more inclined to stay hidden rather than look for a firefight. Have the squad leader stay with the VIP as it is easy for the rest of the team to see where they are on the map. The idea…

Sniper Teams. If a sniper is going to be useful they really need a spotter. In this game, the best spotter is the special forces player with the SOFLAMS binoculars. The special forces player can spot and also supply security for the sniper. A good habit to be in is to have a dedicated squad for the sniper and spotter. Perhaps. Again, problems with player numbers here have been restrictive but a commander is necessary to co-ordinate all squads. I have tried to co-ordinate this a couple of times as squad leader with varying success and it generally requires splitting the squad, so thus is really what a commander should coordinate with multiple squads. Squads Alpha and Bravo assault flag 1. Bravo stays to defend and Alpha assaults flag 2. Alpha stays at 2, Bravo moves on to 3. Bravo stays at 3, Alpha moves on to 4. Etc. In an ideal world of success, anyway. This process (if all goes well) stops your last capped Flag from falling before your next cap and saves a lot of frustration and time. IN PR we have both Sabot and HEAT rounds to fire from our tanks... at least from the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks the USMC uses. I thought a little explanation would be in order. Schnavelled this online and I am not sure how much they have taken into account in the PR damage infliction assessments of rounds fired, etc... In one simple sentence, use Sabot rounds against armored vehicles, like APCs and tanks and use HEAT rounds against infantry, cars, trucks and buildings. argh. thanks for your help on the ram guys but it turns out the stick i got is registered memory, so it doesnt work on my motherboard. knew it was too good to be tru for the price. spose ill have to keep looking. sorry for taking this so offtopic :S
