What is Squad 44?
Formerly known as Post Scriptum, Squad 44 is the most authentic WW2 first-person shooter, featuring 20 large-scale battlefields, upwards of 80 realistic WW2 weapons, and over 50 true-to-life vehicles. You must prioritize communication, coordination, and teamwork to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Experience real WW2 campaigns, such as the liberation of the Netherlands and the Battle of Normandy. BigD Gaming, a community-driven organization established in 2006, initially began its operations by hosting local servers for the Project Reality mod, based on Battlefield 2. Since then, BigD has consistently provided hosting services for cooperative-focused first-person shooter games like SQUAD (a contemporary forerunner to Squad44), Hell Let Loose (a notable World War II game), and various others.
BigD Gaming is a voluntarily run entity, proudly presenting a vibrant multi-clan gaming community situated in Australia. It features proactive administrators, community involvement through events, responsiveness to feedback, giveaways, and additional offerings.

BigD Guidelines
When playing on BigD servers, you have agreed to follow the rules set out on the BigD website. We expect all players to stick to a general set of basic decency guidelines.
Teamwork, Maturity and Fairplay have been the foundations of BigD since the start. This Code of Conduct is based around those Principals.
1 - Advertising in any form for clans, communities, websites, or any other individual/group is forbidden without the approval of a Community Manager.
2 - Any discussion of bans or rules in-game is considered poor etiquette. We encourage users to join us on Discord or the Support Forums in order to resolve all grievances.
3 - Impersonation of any BigD Admins, Managers, Moderators, Clan Members, or other affiliated individuals and groups is forbidden.
4 - Gamertags must not have profanity, racism, slander or any words/phrases that may be seen as offensive. This includes abbreviations and replacing letters of an offensive word with symbols/numerals.
5 - Excessive/targeted profanity in VoIP and text chat is not allowed.
6 - Griefing, Spamming, Exploiting, Cheating, Racism, Sexism, Doxing, Hate Speech and Harassment are not tolerated on our servers.
7 - Do not spam the !admin ping, if you do need to ping an admin, ensure you also include the reason within your !admin ping.
8 - When streaming any BigD hosted games, it is recommended that you run a map overlay or delay.
8.1 - Stream sniping is considered an exploit of the game and will be punished as such.9 - BigD is an inclusive place to everyone all over the world, from different origins, backgrounds, religions, ideologies and orientations, so at all times, players are expected to act with integrity and treat each other with respect. This is just a game and we encourage teamwork, communication, to play fair, encourage each other, teach new players and to just have fun with it.
10 - Intentional team killing is not tolerated. Accidents can happen, so ensure you apologize in all chat.
11 - Meta Gaming: Classified as using an exploit to gain an unfair advantage.
12 - If situations arise that cannot be resolved by the written rules or grey areas arise, admins reserve the right to make decisions in order to protect server health and player experience.
BigD servers are a place where all players can come to game, let out steam, relax, have fun and compete, without the fear of harassment or being in a toxic online environment.

Server Rules
General
- Please use Common sense when playing on our servers.
- Racist, misogynistic, sexist, homophobic and ableist language and/or actions are strictly prohibited.
- Any discussion of bans or rules in-game is considered poor etiquette. 1.3.1 We encourage users to join us on discord.com/BigD in order to resolve all issues.
- Impersonation of any BigD Admins, Clan Members or other affiliates is strictly prohibited.
- You can call for an admin in-game by using "!admin (your message)"
- Advertising in any form for clans, communities, websites, or any other individual/group is strictly prohibited without the approval of a Community Manager.
Gameplay

Main camping is allowed for infantry, halftracks, emplacements and mines.
- Armored vehicles are not allowed to main camp.
- You must allow the enemy team to have minimum 1 escape route that is not camped/blocked.

Wastage or misuse of team assets strictly prohibited, this includes but is not limited to:
- Using Vehicles as one-way transports for yourself.
- Leaving Vehicles behind in a non-active area.
- Teamkilling, Ghosting, Glitching, Griefing, Spamming, Exploiting, Cheating, Sexism, Doxing, Harassment, Hate Speech and Blatant Racism is strictly prohibited.
Squads
- You must join/create a squad or you will be considered AFK and may be kicked.
- Do not create a squad unless you intend on leading it.
- Squad Leaders must have Squad Leader Kit, a working microphone, and must speak English.
- Squad Leaders may kick you for any reason they wish.

Please ensure you and your squad are playing towards the active flags (Atk/Def) as often as possible.
- Exceptions to this are smaller squads (3 players or less) who are operating behind lines activities; ie Mortars, logistics.
- A squad of above 3 must have all members playing the objective.

SEEDING RULES (20/20)
SEEDING- F.O.B.s to be at least 200m+ away from the seeding cap. No SUPERFOBS.
- Spawn Killing during seeding is prohibited. Destruction of Rallies is allowed, but not M.S.P.s or F.O.B.s.
- Commander Assets, Logi Emplacements (MGs, Flak, AT-Guns, Emplaced Mortar, etc) and Armoured Sections are prohibited from attacking Seeding players but may be used to train.
- Fighting must be over the point/Objective and general area.
- No spawning camping and/or blocking route around enemy base during seeding.
- Skirmish: Players must not enter the last cap closest to their enemy’s main.
- Skirmish: Players must not intentionally shoot into the enemy main unless players are shooting out from that direction.
STANDARD RULES (40+ Players)
PLAYERS- Players must not sabotage or do anything that negatively affects their team.
- Squad Leaders must play using the Squad Leader kits. If the role is dumped on you, you are required to change kits on your next death or ask someone else to take SL or you can Disband the squad.
- Do not create a squad, then "palm off" the Squad Leader role, this includes dumping SL to take another role.
- No main camping. This includes intentionally firing into the enemy main base and/or preventing assets/players from leaving their main base or impeding their ability to do so from any distance.
- Players firing out from within 300m of their own main are fair game and may be intercepted by anyone.
- Enemies loitering inside 300m of the enemy main base with the intent to kill players or destroy assets as they exit is prohibited.
- Enemy players can move inside 300m of the enemy main and can loiter with the intent to provide intel to their team provided they do not shoot exiting players or assets inside 300m, unless fired upon first.
- Mines may be placed no any closer than 300m from the enemy “Main Base Faction Marker”. It is the responsibility of players to search for mines and to protect themselves against future hindrances.
- Players must play the current objective and for the team. Aimless players will be remove.
LOGISTICS
- Logistics must play actively for and with the team and run supplies when asked to do so. It is not the Logi teams responsibility to build anything except for F.O.B.s. Those not fulfilling the role will be removed.
- Do not place or use logistics assets in an exploitative way.
VEHICLES
- One-Manning "fully tracked" Armoured Vehicles is prohibited unless retrieving and retreatin or no other squad members are available.
- "Vehicle Flip Feature" must not be used in an exploitative way, such as crossing over logistics placed obstacles and map obstacles such as boxes, vehicle obstacles, walls or bridges intended for infantry only.
- Vehicle abuse - Dumping or intentional destruction of any vehicle with no intention to reuse or to use as personal transport is forbidden.
